REVEREND MARCUS JULIUS ROGERS
The Reverend Marcus Julius Rogers is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He is the son of the late Marion Julius Rogers and Elizabeth A. Rogers. Rev. Rogers was trained in ministry at the Walls Memorial CME Church in Chicago, IL, under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Marvin Frank Thomas, Sr., Former President/Dean of Phillips School of Theology and now Presiding Prelate of the Second Episcopal District.
While a student at Texas College in Tyler, TX, Rev. Rogers fostered a dedication to both God and the church. He heard the voice of God and accepted the call to preach at the age of 18.
Rev. Rogers holds a Bachelors of Arts in Music from Texas College and a Masters of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA.
Rev. Rogers is a pastoral leader and is overflowing with a vision of ministry. Rev. Rogers uses his gifts of teaching, preaching, worship, music, and mentorship to advance the Kingdom of God. He strives daily to instill the reverence of God in the lives of individuals that would result in change and growth for the body of Christ.
